2011

Product range of diesel pile hammers is extended with the models D125, D160 and D 260. The diesel pile hammer D 260 was designed in Germany and made and put in action by DELMAG Shanghai.

2010

ABI introduces the DELMAG drilling rig RHV 40 at the bauma in Munich.

Opening ceremony of DELMAG Shanghai Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd. for the production of diesel pile hammers for Asian market.

2005

DELMAG specializes in pile driving equipment. New leads are developed and offered with additional accessories as complete piling systems. ABI takes over the responsibility for design, sales, service and final assembly of drilling rigs. DELMAG continues to manufacture components for drilling rigs like kelly bars, leads and rotary heads.

2004

New drilling rig RH 32 is displayed at the bauma show. ABI supervises the development of the project and relies on proven DELMAG design features.

The company ABI GmbH from Niedernberg (75%), together with their american partner Hammer & Steel (25%), acquire the piling and drilling equipment division.
The world's largest diesel pile hammer D200 is delivered after successful tests.

The company DELKO GmbH takes over the compaction equipment division.

1998

DELMAG declares insolvency. The drilling rig RH 18 with the DDK system (dual rotary head) is presented and honoured with the Innovation award at the bauma show.

So far the biggest drilling rig RH 4037 is produced. A floating ram for swiss army is developed.

Eberhard Dornfeld, son of the founder Reinhold Dornfeld, long time manager and partner of DELMAG passes away on 25th November.

1986

The product range is being extended with new vibrating plates also with electric start and vibrating rammers. The new drilling rig RH 0610 completes the model range of drilling rigs. Hydraulic impact hammers with drop weights from 3 up to 16 tons are produced.

1983

A new generation of drilling rigs with the models RH 0812, RH 0912 and RH 1413 is developed and placed on the market.

A new diesel pile hammer generation in sizes D8 to D80/100, better and more cost efficient leads and new vibrating plates are developed. Electric and hydraulic vibrating hammers and vibrating rammers broaden the product range.

The inventor of the principle of impact atomization Dipl. Ing. Konrad Haage passes away.

Designing of D55 and slewable leader mast MD 194, slewing range 180° for D5 to be mounted on hydraulic excavator.

Further change of corporate form to a limited partnership with a limited liability company as general partner (short GmbH + Co. KG). The shares are split to the families Bartholomäi and Dornfeld with 50% each.

1966

National and international sale and service departments are strengthened. Re-designed explosion rammer (H2S), so far biggest diesel pile hammers D44 and D55, further vibrating plates (SV7000, SV1200) and the new hydraulic drilling rig RH 155 show the tendency to bigger machines.

The product range is extended: apart from rammers, diesel pile hammers, pile extractors also the first compactor (SV2), the high pressure rammer (DH2), the piling mast (GR 18/181) and other leads are produced.

The founder and managing director of DELMAG passes away on January 21st. Eberhard Dornfeld is from now on the sole general partner in the company.

1956

Rope suspended leads for piling of steel sheet piles, tubes and concrete piles are put on the market.

1952

Change of corporate form to a partnership. Reinhold Dornfeld promotes his son Eberhard Dornfeld to a equal general partner, after finishing his engineering study and joining the company in 1949. DELMAG produces hanging and swinging leads to be mounted on different carriers.

Due to the decision of the Allies DELMAG is placed under trusteeship. Reinhold Dornfeld reassumes the management. As temporary solution steel garden tables and trolleys are produced.

Konrad Haage receives patent for the principle of impact atomization, first DELMAG diesel pile hammer D5 is delivered.

The first explosion rammer in the world developed by Dipl.-Ing. Konrad Haage in cooperation with Ing. Albert Pflüger is patented on 16th Juli. DELMAG specializes in the production of road construction and civil engineering machines.

Mr. Reinhold Dornfeld founds on August 17th the "Deutsche Elektromaschinen- und Motorenbau Aktiengesellschaft" (short DELMAG) by a merger of the forerunner companies "Esslinger Holzbearbeitungsmaschinenfabrik Pflüger & Steinert" and " Walter Fischer & Co." The production range includes initially portable wood saws und cutting machines and electric motors with flexible shaft.
