The drilling rig RHV 40 was designed for large pile diameters of up to 2,400 mm in its standard version, and 2,700 mm in its special version. For cased drilling pipe sections of a length of up to 8,000 mm can be used.
The RHV 40 takes up a torque of 400 kNm and stands out for high stability and torsional strength. Te kinematics was constructed using a minimum of joints and movable parts so that the machine is more stable under high loads in particular. The leader consists of two sections and can be laid down to the front.
For transport the Kelly bar, turntable, upper leader part and counterweight are demounted and transported on a second low-bed trailer. Assembly and disassembly of the machine are executed using on-board tools without the need for any auxiliary equipment.
